Priežu baravikai cepurīte ir tumši sarkanbrūna vai ķiršbrūna, ar ko tā uzkrītoši atšķiras no citām baraviku sugām.
Jaunai priežu baravikai poras cepurītes apakšā ir gandrīz baltas, bet tīklojums uz kātiņa gandrīz nav saskatāms.
Both the cap and the stipe of Pine Bolete are remarkably more reddish than those of Cep or Summer Bolete.
While Pine Bolete is still young, the pores are almost white, and net-line pattern on the stipe is barely seen.
