Chroogomphus rutilus
Lipīgā dzeltenpēdene

Eglaines zeltkāte

Gomphidius roseus
Rožsārtā zeltkāte

Cits latviskais nosaukums: Govpurns
English name: Slimy Spike
Deutschen Namen: Großer Gelbfuß, Großer Schmierling, Kuhmaul

Ēdama, jānovāra; ļoti garšīgas ir jaunas, marinētas sēnes. Gatavojot ir jānoņem gļotainā cepurītes virsmiziņa un gļotas no kātiņa, kuras bojā garšu (taču šī manipulācija var būt ķēpīga). Laba sālīšanai.

The size of this mushroom can range from 4 to 13 cm in diameter. The main feature of this mushroom is that its stalk is bright yellow at the base. Spore powder is dark red-brown to black. It is common in Latvia. It grows in groups, sometimes very large ones, on moss under spruce from July to November. After boiling, it is very tasty when pickled in vinegar. One only has to take the viscid peel off its cap before cooking.

Eglaines zeltkātes cepurītei brūnā krāsa var būt dažādos toņos, bet kātiņam vismaz pamatne vienmēr ir zeltaini dzeltena.
Slimy Spike's cap may display quite varying shades of brown, but the stipe is always bright yellow, at least at the base.
