Lai atrastu kādu sēni, nebūt nav obligāti doties uz mežu vai pļavu: dažas sugas aug pat lielpilsētas visdzīvāko ielu malās!
Lai gan daļa šo sēņu ir no ēdamajām sugām, tās tomēr nedrīkst vākt ēšanai, jo daudzu sugu sēnes
intensīvi uzsūc smagos metālus un citas cilvēka organismam kaitīgas vielas gan no garāmbraucošo automašīnu izplūdes gāzu nosēdumiem,
gan no citiem piesārņojumiem.
Lūdzu, nepostiet šīs ielas malu sēnes, kuras ir spējušas izaugt un izdzīvot skarbajā lielpilsētas vidē!

One does not necessarily have to go to a forest or meadow to find a mushroom,
since some species grow even along the busiest streets of a big city!
Though several of those mushrooms are formally edible,
it is strongly recommended not to consume them,
since a number of fungi species readily accumulate heavy metals and
other harmful substances from the exhaust of passing cars etc.
Do not destroy those mushrooms, which have managed to survive in the harsh urban environment!
