Unlike False Saffron Milkcap, Saffron Milkcap has both the upside of its cap and the stipe conspicuously spotted.

No ievainojuma izdalās koši oranža piensula (šeit: no kātiņa griezuma). Kātiņš pavecākām priežu rudmiesēm ir dobs.
Saffron Milkcap exudes orange "milk" where damaged (here: from the cut stipe). The stipe usually is hollow in age.
